How the hell do you guys do that? Game desiners, comic colorists, graphic aritist all seem to do wonders with Adobe Photoshop! I'm a independent comic artist/writer and very adobe literate but I just can't seem to get that good! I've guys in colorshops and Dhabih turn linework into in your face art but I just end up with crayola looking stuff! I'm not interested in coloring, but I'd really like to be able to say I can do that, if it came to it! I've read Dhabih's tutorial and it helped alot, does anyone know of any other good ones? Any help is appreciates.
My latest attempt, sucks like midgit born with a backwards toungue, huh?

You post one pic, One! It would've made a difference if you had up 2,3 or more! I didn't post my pic for a critique, I posted it to get advice from people who had a better grasp on the subject. I wanted tips, help not to draw any attention from you pic. I shit I ain't Dhabih in this motherfucker!

CyperKill, you really have a bad attitude there. If you wan't critiques and advices from others, you better behave like the others. The MAIN rule of the game in this forum is RESPECT ! So, my advice would be to respect Fallen and say that you're sorry that you behaved like some shithead jerk. Got that, junior ? |

Hi.
Remember that cool forum where peopl would post their art and other people would say good and bad things about it. It was cool how people started their own threads for their own inages, and how most threads went through the system with artistic comments under the original post instead of 32 replies of fighting and bitching ( although i'm bitching right now, hehe, sorry). Thanx to the people that responded about the pic. Cypherkill..post your own damn threads. Mr. Weasel, I appreciate the back-up but can we all get back to the art?

--Shameless move to put this back at the top, seeing as Cypherkill sidetracked my thread.
p.s. Thanx to the ppl who commented on the art already. Guybrush-300 dpi, around 12" x 8" or something like that.

I really like it. The blurring and shading are quite interesting and very appealing.
I was wondering if it would be at all possible to perhaps spice up the background the tiniest but. Just something, so it feel more like she is somewhere relatable and solid. Less floaty?
Great work!
This is why I come here!
