hi again. Thanks for the info on the clouds..I'm searching around for reference pictures of sahara now

I think you should try to make her pose a bit more interesting and less stiff. A few points:
Weight placement. What part of her body ise her weight mostly placed on? (People tend to put more weight on one foot than the other) Is she leaning on the cane (Doesn't look that way)
General posture: Her shoulders should perhaps be pulled back a it more, and her right arm looks a little uninteresting as it is.
Maybe I was a little harsh, but I felt like nitpicking. Feel free to get back at me with the pic I just posted.

I agree to some degree. I think that the left hand needs some action or interest. Perhaps cupped over her eyes to block the sun as she looks out over the land?
The weight issue is one of those things. Hard to take a pose like picture one and pull off the effect of Gorvinson lean. If that becomes an issue for you, just try an alternate stance.
