Here's a piece I'm working on. I'm stepping away from the high explosive shell toting, carnage reaping futuristic characters that have become so commonplace. This is a bit of an ode to Jules Verne with a sort of retro character. Like I said, it's FAR from finished, but just wanted some feedback

the foreshortenin of de rite leg seems weird...n the muscle of the left leg seems hangin down....

Looks like animal legs. (i.e. horse, donkey) Don't know if that was the look you were going for though.

Take away the gun, replace it with a sword, and you've got Dirk The Daring from Dragon's Lair.

Don't ask why, but that's all I see when I look at it. It seems like a typical Dirk pose.

I love the pic. Looks great. The shading and use of colors are awesome. The legs do look a bit odd, but I think it still looks good. I want to see it finished!

Yeah looks cool, but the legs and feet need more refining. Possibly bigger feet and smaller legs

i know its supposed to read as closer to the camera, but his foreground hand is huge! ..oh, and impossibly bent looks cool so far though, i like the er... jet pack?

Salty: Love your style, its very smooth and flowing. How much work with muscles have you done though? One suggestion, have a photo-reference when doing muscles. And most imortantly, Exaggerate!
