I'm very sorry about this...and don't take it the wrong way, but I'm beginning to suspect that some links being posted, lead to shopping sites. I know this might sound a tad idiotic, but this Forum is about Digital Art not Amazon Books or online Hentai buying!

Some discussion to clear the situation anybody?

Cheers!

I think the problem would disolve if Dhabih would consider making some of the regulars here Forum admins.

Skidvis don't make us bitch slap you!!

I dunno. I think the board is fine. I'm kinda wary about the idea of giving the posters here more power to edit and delete. Sometimes a person gets carried away with their position and power and things usually go to hell from there...
I've seen it happen on some messageboards.
I think we should just ignore the nonsense posts and everything will be okay.

EDIT (a few mins later) -

I just went to that skidvis site and read the forum.... To whoever posted that offensive message, it's a little harsh don't you think? I'm not saying I love Skid Vis or anything, but it's not like he posted several times or overloaded the server or anything like that. Oh well, what's done is done.

-Jason

Well if your goal is to drive this forum completely into the ground, then by all means give some of the regs admin privs.

I think it would be a good idea to have one of the regulars as a backup administrator. However, I don't think it should be made public who that person is.

I must agree that blind links to an ad, or pimping your site to amazon are annoying. But that'a all they are, annoying. If you don't like the persons site or if you don't like their post to view their site... well, don't look at it. Close the browser. If you don't reply to the forum post then it will dissapear off the bottom of the page in a day or two and none of us have to look at it again.
I don't beleive it is nessasary to grant admin to some regular users. Just because they post all the time doesn't mean they can be trusted with that sort of power. Some of the regulars are self proclaimed "caustic bitches", some are petty, and others are just downright disturbed. I know I couldn't be trusted to be admin. I exhibit most of the mentioned character traits, and although I still consider myself a reasonable person others don't.

Euxodus: this was a minor incident and has been dealt with in the original thread.
Actually, I find your post more disrupting than the other one - since it's got nothing to do with digital art AND additionally aggrevates people.

Post a cool painting instead - what about that?

*Face of Shear Embarresment*

Alright, I take the original post back, if I could. No hard feelings everybody (Skidvis, you especially) Just a thought at the time really. HEY I did say it was idiotic.

A Thousand Apologies, your grace.

And to Loki: Yes you're right, the thread had nothing to do with Digital Art.*sorry* And I will post a cool painting ......someday! (don't have my tablet yet)

Hey we all stuff up sometime, don't we? After all we are human?? ..aren't we?

No hard feelings.
