Wow, man ,thats great for a first drawing, eesh, you shoulda seen mine, LOL...Anyway I like it alot, also if you wanna improve on it, I'd darken her hair in places, such as the top...And lighten a few others. and while your at it, I would make the eyes look just a little more closed, and use the blur tool on her eyebrows...Well, good luck!

Nice start. You may want to make the eyes the same size. The right one (her left) looks a too big. Also, darken the shading a bit. Looks good though.. cept for all the white space.

old tip for getting a balance: flip the image left to right and you'll see if something looks funny. (but then her eyes in the original image aren't perfectly balanced anyway)
nice work for a mouse too!!

I really love the skin tones Dr. Bang. How do you do it? I'm also using a mouse for my drawing, but I can't get the skin colors to blend nicely.
I think that your hair could use a little work though. MOO posted a nice little trick for drawing hair a few days ago. If you didn't get it, here it is again... http://moo.thirddimension.net/hair.jpg |

hmm ya there was a better way to make hair, it was somewhere in a previous post, i can't find it.
The shading under her chin part needs to be darkened and faded out a bit, there isn't that much contrast between it and her neck. |

I have a tutorial on hair at Gameart. Go look at it. Now.
Morbus: Heh, have you seen Danny or Loki's stuff?
Nice pic, Bang. Very nice. Especially for a first attempt. |

Actually I posted that about 6 months ago I think but someone brought it back up to the top again. I would probably just use it as a starting point for further detail loose strands of hair or whatever :P but whatever technique you use it really doesn't matter as long as you get the desired result. |
