I think I might be going. My company has a booth and so I think a couple of the artists/programmers get to go down for free. I might go even if I don't get one of these slots though, it looks like it'll be cool |

You need to be a game developper, or know someone in the game industry who can vouch for tickets for you .
E3 is much more publicity and press stuff than anything else though. |

A couple of people have mentioned that you have to be a game developer in order to attend E3...
While this is officially true, trust me, they don't check your credentials.
They don't even ask to see a business card when you register.
If you're not in the games (or a related) industry, just make something up on the registration form. Invent a company name. Call yourself a freelance game tester. Say you're a cashier at Electronic's Boutique.
Whatever.
I'm a former member of the games industry. Now I work in film. I still go to E3. I put down the name of my current company. It's not a games company, but the kids who print up your floor badges & the guards at the door don't know that. Nor do they check. Nor do they care.
I've brought non-industry friends to the E3 show on many occasions. They just made something up on the registration form.
Again: trust me, nobody checks.
Go.
Have fun.
See ya there! |

My boss's incompetent son is going. I think he's afraid to leave his kid alone at the store, so I can't go.
So if you see a 5'9 stoner, w/ spiky brown hair and the mentality of cheddar cheese.....kick him in the teeth for me....pretty please.
