Massive content will be added over the next couple of weeks, so check it out, and leave me some posts on your opinons/comments. Also, if you're intersted in another message board, I have a huge one set up on there. Enjoy, and I eagerly await your comments. Thanks! http://www.apocgfx.com

Clear the way!! The prices are rolling back too fast!

Nice site Apoc. Very heavy though. I had to give my modem a bag of ice after loading it.

I could not agree with you more... My website hosting service is incredibly slow, and I plan on getting rid of them as soon as my one year contract is up

Yeah I'm well aware of that... Go figure... Netscape are the people that invented the tabling method I used to create my page, and Internet Explorer is the only browser that can display it right. And I'm not about to try and fix 56+ tables Just get a real browser like IE5 Putting that aside though, what did you think of the graphics? :P

Oh well.. I hate Explorer and I'm never gonna use that to browse around the net. You can make Netscape display the tables the right way.. it's just a bit tricky but it can be done. I did it on most of my pages and it works pretty well. If you need hints about it let me know.. it's not that difficult.. it's just dumb!

The gfx on your site is good. I don't know on the subpages how it looks like but the main page is cool.

maybe you could fix all those 56 tables with just a simple "find and replace" command?

Netscape Rules!

Well the 2 weeks it took me to get the page to look like that is not going to get ruined Any suggestions on this "find and replace" routine to get this to work with netscape??? What's wrong with the code that will make it work in netscape and internet explorer?

Example code:

<TABLE border="0" cellspacing="8" cellpadding="0">

<TR>
<TD >
<A HREF="whatever.html"><IMG SRC="thumbnail.jpg" WIDTH="100" HEIGHT="85" ALIGN="Left"></A>
Description</TD>
</TR>

<TR>
<TD >
<A HREF="nextpage.html"><IMG SRC="thumbnail2.jpg" WIDTH="100" HEIGHT="85" ALIGN="Left"></A>
Other Description</TD>
</TR>

</TABLE>

--
This works for both Netscape and IE. Just find the difference and add the missing stuff ( I guess its the TD tag) with any text editor via find/replace.

For instance:

Find: <TR>
Replace with: <TR> <TD>

hope this works .. its not hard to get it working on Netscape too.. just a day's work and you're done.

Note: I don't know the exact differences anymore, its a while ago.

I think that you should definitely take the time to make it work in Netscape, especially if you are trying to sell services. There are still a lot of people using Netscape nowadays. If you are worried about screwing something up then just copy your entire site to a working directory someplace and make your modifications there, so if you do screwup you still have the original copy set aside.

I would be willing to help you solve the problem if you let me use your menu code. But I will not have time until middle of next week. Send me a message if you want help.

I'd like to get it to work in Netscape, even though it's the worst browser in the world I looked at my source and noticed that I do in fact have <TR><TD> in 99.9% of every table that's on there. Not sure what else I can do or if there's another place that I should be adding more code... I wish I had less tables so it'd be easier to manage, but fireworks chopped this up good And btw, my menucode is available freeware as a javascript thingy called "Hiermenus.js"... try searching for that exactly at http://www.metacrawler.com and you should see it there
