Hi Volks
A while back, I posted an in progress picture of this one.
But tonight I finally found time to finish it... yippie!. Well, I didn't actually finish it 'cause I'm pretty fed up with it. But this is as finished, as it's ever goin' to be
The damn thing could still use some extensive cleaning and refining of bad/stupid areas!
OK! 'nuff said... take a peak!
...and the original highrez thingy, for those who would like to see it!

It's done in Photoshop...

Very nice. Awesome colors and lighting. The chest and upper arms could use a bit of detailing/refining, as could the bloody splooge on the ground, the left hand (your right) could use some work on the form and shape, and the alien doesn't have a shadow, whereas her staff does, but other than those gripes, it looks great. I love the glowing ball on the staff! Awesome job, Ko. |

surphun:
The base is made by using the airbrush set to dissolve on a new layer, and bluring it.
This gives it a cloudy effect. Then I set the layer to overlay. Next, I used soft airbrushes
at low opacity on layers set to overlay, I sampled colors from the background. The hard "lens" effects are made with a hard paintbrush.
Hope this explains it
Tinusch:
I'm glad you like it!
And... yes, I'm aware of the glitches that you point out, but I'm a bit tired of this one now, but I might tighten it up some day...
------------
By the way... I'm looking at it now, on my mac at work, and boy does it look weird... mac gamma sucks bigtime! (when dealing with PC artwork)

I can mail you a "cutout" of the Photoshop file, if you like.
Then you can check out the layers!
