I thought I would share a work in progress, this is my current 'project'
I know you guys probably think im a nut because I put my detail in before laying down the base color for the entire image. But I like to do things one section at a time. Does anyone else do this?
any suggestions for a bg?

As some of you may already know, one thing I love in pics is bright, vivid colors and strong, bright lighting. And your picture has both. I LOVE it so far. The form and perspective are perfect, and the coloring and lighting are amazing. That pic is going to come out awesome, I know it. |

thanks Tinusch. One thing I've noticed about my style is bright highlights and dark shadows. I think contrast really makes a picture pop out at you. I've always liked pictures with bright dynamic highlights and bold shadows, it seems you do also. |

hey, that's looking pretty damn good! i don't care how you draw, long as it works for you...
as a bg.. i think he's gotta be in the middle of some big futuristic assault on a warship, or something....
