I was just wondering what the general age-group is for this forum... how old are all y'all ?

Uh oh. The age thread. Seems like I can't join a single art forum without one of these poping up. Then we learn that the majority of the visitors are between 15 and 20, and everyone nearing there 30's gets discouraged because they begin to wonder if they're told old to learn art.

Yup, happens every time... *grin*

I'm just a 6 year old stuck in an 18 year olds body. My girlfriend will attest to that for non-believers. She wonders what's wrong with me when I quit playin Quake or Half-Life and babble about camping llama's. She thinks I'm obsessed with my neighbors llama's or something, sheesh

Then how about an "age/how long have you been doing art/how long have you been doing digital art?" thread?

I'm 20. Been drawing since my earliest memories. Started with Photoshop about 2 years ago, been working with a Wacom for about a year.

I've been doing art ever since I can remember, and have been doing digital *ART* for about 6 months.. however, I've done a million logos which have been used in print/web using Photoshop over the past 4 years or so.

I also enjoy sex.

20 years old, just started getting back into art after a 3 year abscence. Started digital art in October. Have done about 3 pics in the spare time I have.

At the end of this week, I'll be 17. I don't do art. I've been drawing since... Well, for some reason I just got into drawing at the age of 11 or so, before that I wouldn't even touch a pencil. I've been using PS for, I think, over 3 years.

I'm 20. I've been drawing since I was introduced to the crayon, and I do comic art. I've been doing digital work for about two years now.

Do you now feel more enlightened?

I turned 17 last Thursday.

And I don't draw... you guys amaze the shit out of me... I can't even draw stick people. I'm about the worst in the world. I just like lurking around and drooling over people's creations.

And occassionally doing something to freak people out
