It's time to make another one.
This is what the inteface will look like, the content will go below it.

The text is temporary, I need to think of something better. I'd finish the rest of the layout now, but I have some mathematics to read up on.

Oh, and this is a slightly scaled-down version.

I think the text looks just right. It fits the theme pretty good.

That looks really cool man. Very original and typically your style. It kinda looks like a statue of some ancient insect-god or something

OK, a quick slice 'n' dice operation resulted in an HTML test. http://affected.xs.mw/forums/newlayout/
I'd like feedback on the glowing animation: Is it too distracting? (I know it's too fast, especially in Netscape. Need to fix that.)
I'll optimize it more later on.

Hi, I really like it. The glowing is a nice touch and I the tone of blue/green you have with the mouseovers is perfect. Good luck redesigning

ownage. Just one thing : the lowest part of the iface is not properly aligned with the rest (IE5, 1280x1024). It's small but i guess it'd show up better on a lower res.

Also, just an idea, make the glow on the statue's head the same color as the mouseovers...adds some consequency.

Besides that, love it! like i said... very original and your definite style.

P.s. what do you have with insects? i hate em...

Actually, I think I might ditch the current buttons altogether... I don't like them all that much.

Insects? I don't know... It just sort of came out that way. I just intended to make a statue in the contere, with several arms (Like Shiva) but they ended up as bug's legs instead...

Mesa like!
The glowing effect is great, but as some has already stated, it should be slower, other than that, great work!

I just see one problem, picking the right font for the main content? Maybe you aldready have one...

Cebero: I'm going to use some standard font, people never download fonts they don't have just to view a site anyway. I'll have to see what works best, Verdana is usually pretty good.
