Newbie question...
I am doing some work in Photoshop 5 and after I flatten the image, my only save options are PSD, PNG, Raw, and TIF. Where did my JPG, and all of the other file types go? Sometimes it does it, and sometimes it doesn't, so I know I'm missing something stupid here.
Thanks in advance,
Don N

Umm, I'm not that new. That's what I'm doing. And that's why I made the post.

1)Did work.
2)Flatten image
3)Save As
4)Gives only 4 save options.

Thanks though

Try maybe doing a "Save a copy". I've noticed that gives more options.

Try 'save copy as...'. That should work, because this option automatically flattens all layers etc.
Otherwise check if you'r in RGB-mode, and not in cmyk or others.

Wild: I'm pretty sure your problem was that you had Alpha channels that you forgot to remove before saving. If you delete all the non RGB channels, you should be able to save as you like w/o going to save copy as... I don't suppose it really makes a difference though

Synax,

You are correct, I didn't delete the extra channel. Thanx! (I'll remember that from now on.) This place rocks, thanks for the help guys.
