y0 guys, need help. want to draw sand under my sunset horizon.
-is the sun disk decent?
-clouds clear enuff?
-need sand reference,...i couldnt find anything that could help me

I think you need some purple/blue in the sky and the sun needs to be a bit yellow, it isn't pure white, more light yellow.

And for sand; take a day-trip to the beach!!

btw, any shadows on your sand, or pyramid are going to be very purple/blueish. fairly dark.

draw the sand (with little dunes and whatnot?) in greyscale, smooth stuff, no texture at all, then edit a displacement map out of that, draw a sand texture, use the displacement map on it, then stick it on top of the initial smooth dune form drawing?

's the hard way to do it at least.

on a later remark, yeah, it's alot of work, and requires alot of testing and dicking around, but it's possible.
