Does anyone know of any tutorials on coloring, shading, and touch ups on inked images? I perfer tutorials based on The Gimp, but photoshop tutorials would work.. thanks

Here's a great Thread with a tutorial right in it!
A few of us are working on a Sijun FAQ together, which will include suggested tutorials for a number of things. Stay on the look out for this baby - should be a great resource for newbies, beginners up to experienced artists as well!

From what I've noticed most people on this forum are Photoshop and Painter fans, not too many Gimps (but I may be wrong).
As for PS Tutorials two good places to start are:
3DPalette

and
The Digital Artists Resource
http://dar.3dpalette.com
I don't know if there are any tutorials specific to inked images there, but those and practice should help, I guess!
