Photoshop 5.0 obviously On my little Athlon 650 with 128mb of ram with Intuos 4x5. Windows doesn't lag when I paint, even with the layers window open.

I still wanna try a MAC Spooge and Loki just make me wonder how better they can be.

It's coming along quite nicely!

If that's at work you've got a great excuse not to pick up the phone! But, don't take too long working on this pic, though - might get an ingrown toenail!

It looks like real chrome with a painterly feel... I like it

WARNING: Anal comment to follow...
It's probably just me, but the perspective between the handle and the clipper seems slightly different. Ah, what do I know about realism?!

Very nice, Grunger! It's quite difficult to make an accurate study of such a small object!
Kurisu, I think you're right - the gap between the blades (frontpart of clipper) seems to get wider further back - BUT, I think it's the proper perspective - let's start a flamethread about this ... NOT!

Congrats Grunger - hat's off!

Nice picture/study . I really like the way you've captured the chrome effects and blends of different colors into it.
I have problems define the background, but who cares about that

Yes, very very good. It's a very...errr... how to say? analitic picture. It shows you really took a very good look at how the thing was put together.

Nice one Snake!

Cool idea.. Will you be working on it some more? If so, then my comment would to sketch the numbers on the buttons rather than using the Line tool (? or did you use actual fonts).. Cool stuff!

Kurisu/Loki: Yes, you guys are right The perspective is bad in the blade.. Those are comments like that that I want!!

Joachim: The background is my telephone (the clipper is on the handle of it..) and the big beige thing is the color of my desk..

Danny: Oh.. those numbers I drew them with the paintbrush and eraser to get sharp lines.. guess they're too sharp and unrealistic I'll work on that.. and yes I plan on finishing it but rather than finishing it with some problems, I'd rather fix them now so that my pic has a stronger realistic foundation.

Thanks again all for your precious comments!
