Hey why don't you do your self a favor, go down to K-mart and buy some self-esteem. I like the image very simple...in fact it only takes a few steps. (Flip/Invert/New Layer w/ flipped uninverted photo/Mode: Hue) What should I give for constructive criticsm when I have no clue what it's for or what the original image looks like... It would be great for web graphics and/or a splash image. |

Yeah, Adamantine... What kind of feedback do you expect when all you did was stick a new layer onto a photo? |

hmm....i dunno...good question, most "feedback" i see to other artists are "super!" "i love it!" "i wanna be like you!" etc etc. and i post my art here, that doesnt have to be that i painted it though? right? or is this just a painters forum? well i suppose it is, although it sez "digital art forum". and no i didnt fucking paint it, you dont need that much brains to understand that. so do anybody know wherahfhdfhdf a fuck it. you're all to fucking stupid |

Awww... :[
Altough i agree with what's been said, i still feel sowwy for ya, Adamantine.
Maybe the DBM forum is a better place for web/photomanip art, this place is indeed quite "freehand" orientated...dunno really 'cause im still green & wet behind the ears

You seem like a weird person -but that's ok.
I'm sorry, but since you write no comment with the picture, it's rather hard for people to understand what you want to show. Personally I have problems to feel anything when I see a photo modified picture. It doesn't mean that I don't think it's good craftmanship...-just not my thing, as many others at this forum I suppose.
But, your manga picture. I don't know if that was supposed to be a picture you found on the net or something you made yourself, since you never left any comments to it. But, I draw the conclusion that it is your own work (?)...which in that case was very good
Relax ! Enjoy life

I was just saying that the reason you didn't get praise for the pic was probably because it was a simple trick - a layer on a photo. That's all, don't need to get upset about it.
But man, as I said before, your wallpapers freakin' rule. I have one of the green-gray-blue bubbly blobby ones as my wallper right now. Awesome. |

That Pikachu pic was very well-made, too. Strange subject matter, but very nice technically. |

Hi Adamantine! The picture is nice. i like the surrealistic feel it gives. Is that a scar she's hiding? Her chin seems... The black and white... Kind of Twin Peeks wibes comming in here...
Anyway: Your tone. -Drop it. It'll only hurt you. Think about your bloodpressure. Cheer up with this picture I edited yesterday (a BW picture a friend of mine took): lisa.jpg |
