Hey Dhab!
i was wondering if you can speeeeed draw an awesome picture in 25 minutes!
can do me a favor and sketch something like in 5 minutes with out the colours ! just the rought sketch i wanna study the begining of a miracle.......i want to learn your style.

can you do me that favor please?

jeeez ... Dhabih is soo busy - he hardly has time to post on this forum - how should he have time to make you a sketch??????
Get a comic-book with B/W drawings, pick a nice one, scan it and off you go - it's pretty much the same ...

(heh, actually as of 4-5 days ago i've set aside a set amount of time everyday to start posting. Come on! havent you guys noticed i've actually posted stuff in the last 3-4 days?

at least 10 posts, thats pretty good isnt it? hehehe )

I'm not sure exactly what you were looking for, but here is a pic done in 5 minutes...i so wanted to keep working on it but forced myself to stop.

Gee... you give a little. Then more ppl start asking for more and more. 'til one fella asks you to do his school assignment for him, then another his commercial project. Another asks you to paint his wife so he can say he did it. And then some visitors from space ask you to design a new species for them to create because they keep coming up with duds. Then when they've finally learnt your style they thow you away and just use more efficeint clones they create of you. What a terrible way to go. In the rubbish bin next to an alien xerox copying machine.

Oh well. That's life.

While we are kind of on the topic... Hey Dhab, you almost done that tutorial you said you started a while back? I have been waiting for this thing for ages, any idea how much more you have got to do? I think your new tutorial would be the most help out of anything, just wondering how the progress is coming. Thanks Dhab!

i posted about the status somewhere recently, i cant find it now....anyway status:

tutorial: No where near finished, when will it be done? I really don't know. I'll try to finish is as soon as i can but that doesnt mean it'll be this month or next month or something.... I'm trying though

Oh I am sorry if I have disturbed the all mighty Mongoose by asking Dhabih a simple question.

Okay, what the hell is the deal with everyone "pestering" Dhab. I don't understand what the frikin' big deal is about asking him a simple question. SpiFFy asked for more then I did, he asked for Dhabih to do a quick image, and I didn't think there was anything wrong with that. Obviously, neither did Dhabih. I only asked him what the status on his tutorial was, so I think you need to chill out. Sorry to say, but Dhabih is NOT god, he may be one hell of a damn good artist, but he isn't god. These are HIS boards, he put them up, and I don't see why I shouldn't be able to ask him a question. Oh, I forgot, cause Mongoose said so, he is the ruler on this board. Damn.

Maybe you need to chill out a bit guys. Dhabih can be pretty cool some times, like this time, and actually draw a picture or two to help other amatuer artists.

And Mongoose, I still don't see how I was being greedy by asking him what the progress on his tutorial was. I know you are going to come back with some smart ass remarks now, so I will just end this post.

I think I got my point across... Thanks again Dhabih.

I am sure Dhabih is a great guy.....but thats all he is...just a person like you and me. Lifes to short to drool over what might be....just do it!(this is not a bit for Nike) OK I'm off my high-horse now....

Hahah! That sounds a lot like me! I don't know about you, but when I give excuses to my friends like that, it can usually be translated to "I can't be bothered, I'm not going to do it." But it's a whole lot different because they're my friends so I can give then shit without feeling bad. So I guess it's not the same...

Ah well, I'm rambling.

Really love the sketch, have you ever thought about putting up a digital sketches section on your site. it would be nice to see more
of your quich sketches and stuff like that.....Along with your finnished work.

thanks, yeah i've thought about it and but its always been one of those "oh, i should add that when i redesign my site".

and redesigning my site is a looooooong ways away.

so maybe i'll just add a section to the current one. thing is i actually dont have many sketches. maybe like 3 or 4 so far. anyway, thanks for the suggestion and i'll implement it hopefully sooner than later.
