hey,
i did this quick portrait (about 20-30 min)
of charles dickens. (this was something for my english class... we're supposed to do something about dead authors, hehe). Newayz, tell me what u think. (btw, i used photographic reference...no shit...hehe)

the head detail is great, just gets a little bit too sketchy on the dress, but i guess that's intentional

hey dakkan, cool pic. I like the painted style on the clothes/chain. I think the head may look a bit flat compared to it tho, I'd like to see it more in the style u did the clothes.

the head looks great, like how you did the beard. i just think the coat could use some NON-fat lines instead of the fat lines
..go on a diet ehhe.
