[Lemur-X]

Well.....I've had a block for a month and a half......I just can't find anything interesting to draw....which stinks since I want to apply some new techniques that I did in my scrap images in painter......

Any suggestions to aleve one's self of block?

Hmm im having the oposite problem :\ heh I have plenty of ideas just don't know how to apply them properly into PShop. I learn stuff but dont apply it *shrug*

I know i didnt help you just thought id have a whinge in here :P

artistic blockade is my third name.

you plan something for a few weeks, every day at school and at the cafes and so forth, but the time you get back home, you've got zero motivation and inspiration left, and instead decide to have a little game of something, or go smoke, or sleep.

repeat 3487924 times.

and after 2 months, you have about 15 minutes worth of actual drawing time down..

always help, for me anyway, to scan through a ton of "art" sites, crappy and otherwise.. nick ideas, try others' styles, and so forth.

try to draw something that you would never draw in the first place..........

Faust, right on. Im exactly the same ill get inspired while im half asleep and then when i wake up i have no motivation or inspiration and just end up playing Quake3 all day :P

Its a pain. I hate not being able to make use of my ideas.
