I have a lil' problem.. when i draw near my monitor with Intuos serial tablet, the cursor starts shaking real bad in convulsions! I tried to beat up my pen but it still shakes.. the closer to the monitor the worce! And i dont have much space on my desktop to move it away.

Oh and also sometimes its like "stucks" between two pixels or something.. i dont know but it shakes too but when i move it up a bit it stops.

Do any of you have this at all? Or is it just me drinking too much vodka lately... . . .

It could be just your hands... does the cursor shake even when your pen is touching the tablet? Cuz my cursor shakes too when I hold my pen a bit far from the tablet. I used to have that problem. Mebe... but then, I have USB.I have no idea. Try moving the tablet cable away from the monitor if possible.

It is not your hands (unless vodka is involved, or lack of vodka). You are getting interferance from your monitor. You need to find some way to move your tablet further from the screen.

If that doesn't work you need to unscrew your stylus and pour a little vodka into it. That should solve things. (just kidding)

Yeah, its definitely your monitor, our intern had the exact same prob, called wacom and they said the only solution was to move it away from your monitor.

Maybe a five inches of lead between the monitor and tablet would help.

I have two monitors, one in front of me and one to my left.

If I turn off my smaller monitor, and back up a couple feet, it still shakes a little (it's a big, old monitor, so it's not all that surprising though).

Not much you can do. Possibly get one of those anti-glare/radiation protection covers for your monitor. I know those considerably reduce the amount of forward interferance, might help with the Wacoms.

Hm... I moved my wacom right next to the monitor and the cursor didn't shake on bit when I put the pen on the tablet... But then my monitor's not that old.
