Have you ever seen a shadow person? For those of you who don't know what a shadow person is, they are transdimentional beings that appear in someones life before a tragedy is about to happen. They live on human energy and people who see them often feel tired after witnessing them. Most people have seen a shadow person in some form or another. They ressemble fuzzy television snow but are much darker, having the elongated shape of a human figure. Sometimes they are taller and thinner than humans with a kind of "pointy" and distorted build. They are often blurry and swift in movement, rarely appearing in bright light. People who manage to see them often don't get a good look at them, they are hard to watch because of their speed and distorted form. People get really creeped out, some say they're demons but shadow people aren't really evil, they take our energy only because they need to in order to survive.

Do you think you have seen a shadow person before? I have, there were two in the hallway one night, one was walking quickly towards me and the other was down like an ape. The ape one leaped up to the ceiling then merged with the one walking towards me. Before I knew it, the shadow people had passed me and had completely faded away. They were always transparent looking and changing in thickness and consistency. It creeped me out and after the incident i felt really tired. The "tragedy" was that my dutch great step-grandfather passed away, but I hardly knew him so it wasn't too much of a tragedy for me.

Have you been watching too much of the movie "Ghost"?

No, I have never seen a shadow person..

That sounds pretty bizarre, but I believe your imagination took you for a little ride.

Ok, I will take you serious (I don't know if it is meant to be a joke) so:

First I don't believe in "shadow people", "poltergeists", "Spectres" etc.

The fact that you call them "shadow people" and describe what they do, how they look and behave like normally tells me someone told you about it or you read it somewhere.

Thats the first "ingredient".

The second ingredient is that you saw something that you could not explain at first. A shadow of someone walking out of your line of sight, or a shadow caused by a lightsource that was moving etc.

So if you take 1+2 together you come to believe that you saw shadow people. In reality you saw something that you could not explain normally at the moment so you took on your memory and voil Shadow people.

Women tend to be more superstitious then men in general (this is not my sexist prejudice but the result of several social studies on women and men in their 20-40's). I don't know why, maybe its the hormones.

dont take me as being ignorant or rude but I am more scully than mulder in character i guess.

I've seen them. At night, while driving home.

"Whoa"? Sounds.. New Age-ish. But, and you can quote me on this, "crazyass shit happens."

Never to me of course. *sigh* Wish I saw some supernatural stoof. Oh well.

The shadow people are coming! They're coming to suck your soul out!

In all seriousness, I just wanted to provoke a discussion on the paranormal. What I mentioned was what I saw, but I'm more than willing to dimsiss it as just a glitch in my head.

I once went 4 nights without sleep and I saw a lot of strange stuff.

But I am pretty certain that I killed all the monsters that were tormenting me after I awoke in the park with someone elses blood all over me.

Oh by the way I am single. Does anyone have any cute sisters.

Man I'm tired

Ok... I think somethign odd is going on... Apparently my uncle has had some trouble with some gypsies - from what I gathered he rented a room from them, and somehow ended up owing lots of money to them. I don't know the full story, but anyway, last night I suddenly got this feeling they were going to kill him. I don't know why, but for some reason I just felt that. Now today, my father tells me my uncle is dead... Said it had happened friday, though, maybe earlier. I don't know how he died, probably not because of the gypsies, but it's still a bit of a strange occurrence... it's not like I was close with him - he'd made a mess of his life, and I didn't see him that often, but last night when I felt that I couldn't help feeling sorry for the guy...

Shadow people.... hmmm. Never had that.

Something to think about : the brain can keep dreaming at night, even when you are awake. My little brother used to have downright terrible dreams in which he's chased by something invisible and then wakes up and, seemingly fully awake, sees rivers of blood flowing down his bedroom window, to the floor. He'd start screaming bloody murder, and when we came in the blood "dissapeared". :/

Yeah, I know a guy who told me how one morning he woke up and on his way to the living room jumped over a beetle the size of a human being...

He didn't mention anything about reading 'metamorphosis...' Sound advice nonetheless.

wee look at all these things i can relate to!

When something important is going to happen in my life, i see spiders everywhere, then focus on one on the celing and it jumps on me and i wake up screaming and going balistic.

Its happened to me since i can remeber. like... first one i remeber i was 6, and i had a pink ceiling. and the major event was starting school and being in the schoolyard for big kids...

anyways

I'd prolly be wearing a long sleeved white jacket by now if I had this kind of repetitive dreams Darkmoon.. *shivers*

As for the spooky stuff, I once had a very vivid dream (?) that woke me up in the middle of the night. And saw what happened in it on the news the day after..

It was a highjack in a russian plane gone bad. Brrr I can still remember the explosion, the flames and the time it woke me up.

i see people (dead, energy?) they talk to me, not comanding me to do stuff but they talk to me, i cant really figure out what they are saying but i hear them. sometimes i see them clarely but not their faces. One particular "spirit" is one who sits on a shelf behind me in my room, at the top shelf...when i was a child, when i went to sleep, faces apeared in the wall, merging out of the wall, some was scary some was funny..(i was like 6 and it continued till i was 8-9) and i have always seen "ghosts" running in my room at night, infants hanging from the roof.

to really be new age'istic, i can often controll people trhough my mind, when im in the subway and some old lady sits with her back to me, i think turn around turn around etc, and when she does, she looks strait into my eyes and get scared...i dont look like no goth or something like that, a regular guy...my mom dreams of a person when its happening something dramatic in their life, when someone gives birth or a relative dyes. The person (that dies or gives birth etc) comes and meets my mother in her sleep. And the things happen the next day (birth, death)

i should stop now, before i get to wierd...now ill get NO replyes to my pics.

<edit> added some stuff, corrected some type-Os </edit>
