The only real difference in monitors that would drastically affect the way your pic looks on it would be brightness. My brother's monitor, for example, is unusually dark, so a lot of the detail in my pics are lost on it. The only real protection against that would be to not make your pics too dark and not make them too light. Although I find that restrictions like that prevent me from creating the atmosphere I want in my pics...
As far as fast-loading, well, that's dependent on image size and modem speed. The smaller the size of the image, the less space it will take up, and in turn, the faster it will load. Also, if the image is a JPEG, then when you save it in Photoshop you can choose the image quality. The higher the quality, the more space the pic will take up, and therefore, the slower it will load. SO it's all about making sure your pic isn't too big and setting the proper image quality. |
