Hi, I would like to know some of your (everyone's) airbrushing techniques. I don't have a tablet and I can't seem to make my airbrushing seem smooth and even. Would you gaussian blur them when your done airbrushing? Or what? I'm pretty much clueless. Thanks.

If your not using a tablet, about the only thing you can do is reduce the opacity to 10-20% and work at it. (going over the same spot repeatedly until you have what you want) |

Without a tablet, its difficult, but I've seen some incredible mouse artwork.
Start with larger brushes, and set the opacity very low. build up your tones starting with the darkest, just filling in large blocks of color. Its like a picture slowly coming into focus. slowly work your way done towards smaller, sharper brushes, and build up your details. Although theres lots to be said style-wise for visible brush strokes, starting with large brushes is key to smooth-looking images.
Just my 2 bits... most of the comic-style artists would NOT recommend working this way.. but without a tablet, it worked best for me.
