One of those last-minute changes to the Loonygames cover came up and I had a go at it myself (the subject was an interview with Brandon "GreenMarine" Reinhart from Epic);

Done very quickly, about 2 hours all told. It was drawn with a black background in mind so it looks a bit dark on the Loonygames background color..

Don't forget to visit Loonygames;

Nice picture !

You seem very good at not panic if you need to finish off something in the last hours, that's a fine ability. Personally I would have freaked out

cool. is that what he really looks like or did you draw him from your imagination?

I think he looks a bit too red though

BTW: I think Joachim, or someone else, schould do an "under cover" on you for this issue hehe =)

I -wish- I could draw a decent head in less than two hours, but no, I used reference .

It's not really a portrait of GMarine, here's what I used for reference/inspiration;
http://www.donatoart.com/astrono.html

He looks red because the last thing I did was contrast it (it was actually painted -very- dull) and that lifted the chroma too. I didn't have time to play with it any more and I kinda liked the freaky look it gave..

A recent photo of the real GreenMarine. It's interesting that the character Sumaleth (long live QRally! er, sorry) drew is bald as Brandon recently shaved his head completely.

Damn, I wish I had that image last week, it wouldn't have taken much work to get the guy in the pic looking like the real GM :}.
