Here are some upcoming releases that might rock in my opinion.
"6th Day" (Release: November)
-He'll be back and then some. Arnold Schwarzenegger is a helicopter pilot fighting to take his life back from an evil clone of himself.
"The Ladies Man" (Release: October)
-"SNL"'s Tim Meadows is a late-night radio host trying to connect with the woman of his dreams if he could just remember which one she was.
"Unbreakable" (Release: November)
-Bruce Willis teams up with M. Night Shyamalan again, this time as a security guard with an uncanny ability to survive accidents. Also starring Samuel L. Jackson.
------------------
Movies that will suck are:
"102 Dalmatians" (Release: November)
-See Cruella De Vil attack a new litter of puppies, plus one more, in this sequel.
"Charlie's Angels" (Release: November)
-One of television's guiltiest pleasures gets a stylish new look, compliments of Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu.
"Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2" (Release: October) <-CMON THE first one sucked....
-The inevitable "Blair Witch" sequel finds a group in Burkittsville, touring the Black Hills. Directed by Joe Berlinger ("Paradise Lost").
Those are my opinions..anyone else? |

I've heard that "Ladies Man" is completely horrible . . . but I'll wait till I see some previews.

Well I baised them all on plot writings...haven't seen the trailers yet. But you could be right, movies just aren't what they used to be. I think the last great movie I saw was Independence Day in the theater. That rocked (oh and The Matrix) oh and Blade |

Good God! You thought Independence Day was good?! That movie sucked like the dickens! Blade too, just not as bad as Independence Day. That last good movies I saw in the theatre were Fight Club and American Beauty. After Fight Club, I saw David Schwimmer(read: "Friends" dork) and, man, did I want to kick his ass. Talk about effective film making!

Well, i know this one is quite far from release, but what about the final fantasy movie. It looks simply stunning. I've never seen 3d like that. Anyway, its looking impressive, the question is, are people gonna go see it...
I hope so, Square deserves the money for what they're putting together.

Well at least I didn't get hammered about Matrix.
C'mon Blade was sweet, the music, martial arts was well done. I mean I ain't saying Wesley is a pro, but he did well in that movie. I thought the plot was pretty good too. Blade 2 looks like it will rock as well.
Independence day was good! Sorry, but I guess that is my opinion...no backup on that one?
Fight club was alright, good ending. But it was slow for me. I guess on a slow sunday night I would like watching it.

Hasn't anyone heard of the movie comming out this Christmas? "Crouching tiger, sleeping dragon" or something like that.
It looks like a real kung fu movie. Might be kinda cool. |

Crouching Tiger, Yes I did see that trailer and it looks good. If it is done elegantly I think it will be cool like matrix, if not it will be like Black Mask or Romeo Must Die |

i don't think independance day was all that bad... geez, i've seen soooo much worse i don't see how you can call independance day garbage. i liked blade too, just because i didn't feel like thinking during the movie so i just got to sit there and watch wesley shoot things which was quite entertaining.
Gladiator for some reason got to me, the feeling of it... oooh... if you are depressed after a movie that means it was good.
go see up in smoke.
