Alright. You know the question here. Who's your favorite classical composer?

Mine is easily Johann Sebastian Bach. Euphoric to listen to and infectious to play.

i dont know anything about composers or the like, but the one guy i do know is the dude who composed the soundtracks to all the final fantasies (especially 7 + 8), they are so amazing.

I'd have to go with Aaron Copland for straight up classical pieces. And closely followed by John Williams and then James Horner for movie scores.

Elfman [favorite is Edward Scissorhands] and Mitsuda [Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Chrono Cross, etc.]

Holst's "The Planets" Oh My Fu**in' GOD! how much do I love that CD. Other favourites - Carmina Burana(sp), Phillip Glass' Mishima and Koyaniquatsi(sp). If you ain't heard them do so NOW!

TDSdesigns, Shine is fantastic, Ceenda if you like Rachmaninov, watch it!

Pachebels canon is by far my favorite classical song, its amazing. I also love "Libera Me" from Gabriel Fuare'.

I love Beethoven. He was Austrian you know. But for this sort of work, he's a little light, so I tend to go with the heavier guys.

Beethoven was german. (born in Bonn).
He later moved to vienna however and was influenced by other composers there.

Did I say I love Beethoven? No?
