I know I posted this b4, but i just got one reply then. So here it goes again:

Does anyone know of a good (free) web host, which is pretty fast, and gives me plenty of room for my art?

Or, if anyone could host me on their own server, that would be better

who is your i-net provider?,..don't they give you web space?..

you have a problem with your wording in the question you asked:

"Does anyone know of a good (free) web host, which is pretty fast, and gives me plenty of room for my art?"

free/fast/plenty of space,..

well,. lets see i know of many that are fast,
many that are free, and many with much web space,. but none that have all of these.

why don't you try the standard
xoom, dencity, geocities, earthlink, cbj,. they're affordable to say the least,. or if you have a dedicated phone line/dsl/cable modem,. create your own server,.
http://youripaddress/cerbero or something?

i use dencity, because there is an easy setup process, and they don't spam me,.

I would create my own server on my ip, but i'm on dial-up 64k isdn connection, and pay per minute, so its not a very good alternative, if you get what i mean.

My isp gives me 10 megs, but their web server dedicated to users is kinda slow, so that's not an alternative either...

Keep having the replies coming =)

Hey CeRbEro.

A friend of mine is creating a website dedicated to art on the net. I think the address is http://www.digitalpallet.com/

All you can see is the "coming soon" sign. But I have seen his website already.
Personally, I think his website stinks in graphics, but the concept is promising. Dont tell him his website stinks

Its not done yet, but he has plenty of webspace left. Im sure he'll love the idea of giving a bit of webspace to fellow artists. Ill give in the word about you.

BTW, nice site, but it lacks the graphics to catch my attention in the main page. It looks a bit plain.

Latez!

In, my opinion it's a more proffesional look than the one i have now.

Hm... think I'll register digitalpalette.com, seems like a nice domain

Anyway, check out webtronix.org, this guy's got a nice list of free webhosts, site trackers, sponsors etc.

The reason my friend chose www.digitalpallet.com is because 'digitalpalette.com' was already taken..

Seems to me a lot of people would first try the correct spelling, when coming to the site...
