Oh, yes sir! The more o/l archieves of scene-gfx the better. There are already a few cool ones around, such as Gfx-Zone (anyone have the new url out there???) but, IMHO, the more the better! Go for it!

Hi..

The "new" working gfxzone url is :

http://gfxzone.planet-d.net/

Another good online scene pixel resource is :

ftp://ftp.amigascne.org/pub/gfx-artists.a-z/

And be sure to check also :

ftp://ftp.amigascne.org/pub/gfx-artists/

Enjoy..

Also, don't forget the "closed" Hornet demoscene archives.

There's also the following some of you might find interesting...
http://www2.chiparus.org/gallery/default.asp http://made.planet-d.net/ http://www.lazur.punkt.pl/ http://www.tbl.org/
(+ so many others I no longer keep track of)

Keep in mind that some (most?) of these are pixeled copies of other people's art... but the technique is there and can be impressive to those new to the concept of reduced-color pixel imaging.

I asked this question since i needed a project to play and test with my postgresql server on linux. And a artist indexed website for scenegraphics looked like a great 'playproject' to me..
any suggestion is welcome..
