Hello, I've been lurking on this board for a bit now, and figured I'd finally rear my (ugly?) head.
I've been working on this thing for a bit now (I only draw whenever I get bored in class - meaning I tend to draw a lot in class), and I usually am pretty shy/embarrassed about my stuff, but I figured I'd learn alot from your collective comments. Anyhow, criticize away (I've a thick skin...I hope)
(The thing was done with one of those Pentel TechniClick 0.5mm mechanical pencils =) I'm thinking about attempting to color the thing in Photoshop, but I haven't a clue where to start. Should I start with something easier?)

That is definitely a cool character you've got going there.  If you decide to color it, please avoid the smudge tool. That pic has major potential.

Can I colorize it for you? or at least just for the heck of it, anyway. the pic you posted is ever so slightly cropped off on the far right at the eyeball monster's 'elbow', so I was wondering if that's the only pic you have of it or if you have another that has more space off to the edges.
here's a sketch i colorized recently (just 'phase 1' colorized): right here
