my theory is the bigger the beter,.. but there is another contradicting theory,. the smaller the cheaper,..

anyway, i suggest a 6x9,. at the smallest,.i've had smaller, and they work well, but i enjoy the smoothness of the larger ones.

goto ebay, people are selling their old ones to get newer bigger ones, you might get a good deal,.

I have a4x5, and it works VERY well. I'm sure a 6x8 would be a helluva lot smoother, but for the $100 price difference, I think the 4x5 is a better deal. You can get a brand new 4x5 Graphire for $99 from WacomDirect, or a 4x5 Intuous or ArtPad on eBay. I got a used ArtPad II for $102.50.

Yah. They seem smoother..... I have a 9 x 12 and it is silken on detail work, if need be. But for the majority of daily work, anything smaller seems to be more than adequate

This topc has been brought up at least 15-20 times before. That's why this board has a SEARCH option just for that reason.

Please use it!

Damn! My tablet is FINALLY @!#$% shipping (I ordered it the 17th of December). Either Wacom is really lazy or there's a big demand for 12x12 tablets.

Anyways, just felt like sharing that.

Who cares whether these questions have been asked before? There are new people joining every day, and they have just as much right to provide input towards these questions. If these questions wernn't posted, they wouldn't get to give their opinion. Do you understand what I'm saying Cypher? Maybe it's just my computer, but if i see a question I've seen before, I just click on next newest topic. I don't know, it's probably just available on my computer...

jeez
