In the spirit of the current trend to draw from life, plein air or from photographs, to practice I give you my latest foray.
Seeing as I couldn't be bothered hunting through our 30yr collection of Nation Geographic for pictures to copy, and there's no way in hell I'm moving my PC outside...

I give you, my ceiling!

looks best at aound 50%. I shoulda used a taller aspect ratio too, that was I could have fit a few more things in, like more of the grotesque patterns in the centre (see upper right corner), or the doorway.

Eeerr .. yah.
Nice ceiling. :P Seriously, its a nice ceiling.
Do you know how WEIRD that sounds ?
"Its a nice ceiling" ... but then, it IS nicely done ceiling.
Looks a bit clay-like to me.
Reminds me of that game, Neverhood.

I get this weird feeling when I think about painting my monitor and its surroundings like that... Seeing it all in two. And having to draw the thing over and over again on the screen. :P

Damn, I misspelled 'weird'. Shame on me.

Ahhh no ! .. I would never paint my monitor or my ceiling. I've had enough of still life.
If you guys dont know yet, im from Lassale-SIA an art college here in Singapore. And being in an art school, the Drawing 'A' and Painting lecturers usually make you draw STILL LIFE. IM SICK OF IT ! SICK SICK SICK SICK SICK SICK SICK !!

Oh and don't go drawing your pc from the first person before I do, I got this weird send up of an Escher picture planned.
