Hey hey everyone,

Just came across this forum the other day, and quickly decided it was awesome, obviously THEEE premiere forum for digital art... and it looks like there are huge amounts of great artists here.
I am an art/film student, that's just now starting to get into digital art as a hobbie. I just recently got meself a funkycool Wacom tablet... and so here is a link to my first attempt at something...

Yeah yeah... it's not normally my kind of artwork... but when you get both a wacom tablet and a sports illustrated swimsuit calendar for christmas... how can you NOT combine the two? :P Let me know what you all think... and I am glad to have found this place.

Thanks Acryl, great advice.. yer a very talented artist (judging from your webpage) and now that you've mentioned it I agree on both accounts and will try to redo what I can. As for what tools I used... I just used paintbrush to splat down basic shapes and colors, then airbrushed and burned for shading and highlights. Speaking of splat, not my intention, but glad to help, mongoose. lol.

Want me to comment this ?
If not I do it anyway ;D hehe ..
Looks like you already know how to use your painttool very well ( which one is it , i may ask ? )
Two things disturbed me while looking at the picture .
1) her face doesnt have the right proportions ( the eyes are a bit too high , which makes the nose look very long )
2) the hair is not looking really realistic , take a look in Leos " Just a naked woman " topic and look at the reply i gave to this .. also take a look at the attached picture i posted there .. showing my approach to draw hair ( its one way .. there are millions of ways i guess ;D )

I hope critique on anatomy is justified here as this should be a drawing from a photo ...

hope to see more from you ...
