I might do that for one or the other painting soon. Patience, young Jedi!

Hey Loki,
I'm interested to know what you did for the Fifth Element. Chances are if you name the scene I'll know exactly what you are talking about. It was such a visually stunning movie.

I didn't get credit on the movie and I worked only in preproduction, but I mention that I worked on it, because my made made it in the movie.
There are a couple of scenes that play in Zorg's (Gary Oldman) office. There's a huge round window through which you can see the new york of the future. I made the production painting and designed the buildings - they took that to London where they shot the live-action and painted a backdrop after my painting. They made some changes to the foreground, but it's still mostly my design.
I also did some other work for it, but that didn't make it in the movie ...

Loki, your page have been moved to my favourites, so you no longer need to inform about updates . The Lodge theme looks alot original. Maybe you'll show something else from them ... Just interesting, how you can paint so fast, huh?
/Leo

PS: Bah, one more thing - how about making somekind of 'behind the scene process' ?

Leo - thanks for the compliment! I'm happy I landed in your favourite section!
Well - "Son of Lodge" is, also looking at the title, a continuation of lodge - did you check it out?
Btw - what do you mean with "behind the scenes"? There are before/after and step by step examples on there - written stuff can be found in the 'digital illustration' section ... guess I've got to hide the gallery in there, so people see the other stuff too

I too want to congratulate Loki on the great work that he does on his page. I have found the articles in his Digital Illustration section to be of particular use and help. Also, just being able to learn about how a professional configures Photoshop and the way they work has been a great help to me and to my drawings. Thanks for taking time to create your site and for sharing your talent with us.

You hit the nail on the head, cayne. I dig Loki's art bigtime, and I especially dig the tips. Thanks, Loki!

BTW, who wants to buy me the megalomaniac setup?

Your tips and tutorials are just great Joe, it's awesome to see the site updated so often!
But like Acryl, I'd really like to see the original size images, these tiny 10% ones are just frustrating
