Hello folks,
I know a lot of you like to practice comic book coloring or "cut-style" coloring, but can't find any line art, so I've found an old inking I did about a year ago (not very great, but an inking) that was kicking around my computer, so I figure, hey, let these fine people use it to practice, so here's the URL
http://www.nytro.org/ink.jpg
It's a nifty cyborg type character, good for people that want practice on something with a lot of detailing.
Remember, it's for PRACTICE, enjoy

hey scOOp thats a great picture. Did you just do the inking? -or the drawing aswell? In any case, it's pretty cool. I'm assembling a lineart section for 3dpalette, so that people who are more interested in the coloring aspect of art can practice. I already have quite a bit, most of it either comic lineart, or conceptual work from games. Would you mind me using yours in the section?
cheers |

No, immi, this was pencilled then inked over top. I think if you look close you can still see some eraser marks around the outside
I've only done a few pics in straight ink, which actually turn out pretty nice, but I still like to draw in pencil, I get better control, so now, I ink on a sheet of tracing paper or if I'm at school I can sneak onto the animation light table at times, woo
Anyway, yeah, go ahead and use this for your line art section, all I ask is that my name and site link is somewhere near that picture.

Wow, Phire, nice job with that coloring... Sc00p's sketch was awesome as it was, but now... WOW. You two should do some collaboration pics, I'd be interested in seeing what kind of masterpieces you two could create working together... |
