this a COPY (arg !! sorry) : a little dog on the cover of the french edition of a science-fiction book named "demain les chiens" (literraly : "tomorrow the dogs") by Clifford D.simak ...
but the subject of my drawing is not so important : i've done it with a Mouse on paint shop pro , trying to draw (copy ? with my computer ,and i've found it not so bad ...
i'm thinking to buy a wacom 6x8 .. is it a good investissment seeing my work ?

Wow, that's really good mouse work! The legs and the paws look good. But there shouldn't be a bump running down his chest.

That's very good

I was going to say I like the perspective, but you didn't draw it. But that's still cool, because you managed to copy it effectively and capture the perpective which is just as important.

I agree with Trance R about the line in his chest or whatever.

If you get a tablet, you'll learn a lot each time u use it. But it's also good to have more traditional knowledge behind you (like shading, form etc).
So if you can easily afford it (ie: rich) go for it, but if you're strapped for cash, just keep drawing on paper a LOT and you'll be more than prepared to do digital art.

Also a tablet is a big investment, so make sure you're dedicated and committed to getting good use out of it.

I know I'm no expert at digital art, I'm only a beginner, but I hope this advice helps you out

As much as I do not like the french (well, at least my french teacher from the past two years and the stereotype she embedded into my brain), I like the picture a lot. The technique looks like some sort of bronze statue. You should make more art of animals like that - it is very very cool. Just one question, did you actually draw the dog or use a photo or 3d rendered pic? Anyhow, still good.

I also looked at some of your other stuff. 3d is good, but I like the anime style pic of the chick - with a little more work that could be really cool.
