Hey Jessica, mine was $530 including postal costs. But I'm in Australia, so you'll have to convert the currency.

And, of course, the prices will vary from country to country.. Unless you ordered it from the US, in which case you just have to reduce the postal fees.
Seriously, though, the way things are more expensive here in Finland than in, say, Japan is just ridiculous. My digital camera, which, fortunately, some nice friends who were in Japan bought from there would have cost twice as much here as it did in Japan then... Ugh.

I had to dish out $373,66 (incl. s&h) for it, but hey, good things don't come cheap, now do they?

Trance-R, all models are available in either Serial, ADB (Apple Desktop Bus) and USB versions

Don't bother looking for a Wacom tablet at your local computershop. You won't find one... (not back here at least)

Try locating a (mailorder supporting) Macintosh dealer instead.

N8, the price I posted was in US dollars... Converted to Australian dollars, it would be approx. $550,-

I got it at mail-a-mac (mailamac.nl), but this info is probably useless to you, since you're from, like, the opposite side of the globe... besides, you're already getting one soon. Enjoy

Merchant, dig up some old threads you'll find 6x8 is by far the most ideal size for a tablet. It's more mobile and convenient for it fits on the desktop. Dhabih himself prefers 6x8 and lots of otha people. Search the forum. You will find more details. (search function on the right top corner... :p). Oh yeah, it's big enuf. heh heh.

hey Trance-R Im getting a wacom soon, and i live in Canada! where abouts are ya?
i live in ontario can...and you can find all sorts of computer places in downtown toronto with wacom tablets. If a place doesnt have one, you can usually get a good referral to a store that does! If not, check out the large places like...computer city, or where my buddy works Compu-Smart

canadian content 100% ground tablet

I got my 6x8 Wacom Intous serial tablet a year ago (november 98) for $277 USA dollars.

That price included shipping. Pretty good deal.

It pays to shop around on the net

i use this search engine at www.killerapp.com they have a large database of internet based mail order companies and they will tell you who has it for less (within their database of course). the cheapest place it listed was at:
http://www.buy.com/comp/product.asp?sku=10010400

it sells for $251.95 (USD), locally the same tablet is like $329+tax..

ps: screw U.S. internet e-commerce tax!!!
