it does not look too good phire...
here are some tips...
never size Up.. always size down... that way your images will not look pixelated...
also.. well that is the main thing I see... try working with a big resolution ... then going down down down till you get the size you want!!
Keep crackin man! =) |

Hey, I've got a mouse pic I just did too.
Check it out. It's... weird lites. Reminds you of those poos freaks who saw northern lights and don't know what to do. They just stood their... staring. Hahahaa! First one is the small version, the 2nd one is the bigger one. The bigger one... lacks detail. See... it's so magical. You add big in the file name, and the browser enlarges it for ya! Go figure! :p http://dencity.com/trance/portfolio/weirdlite.jpg http://dencity.com/trance/portfolio/weirdlitebig.jpg |

Wowie, those 'weird lites' look pretty cool!
Would you mind telling us how you pulled off that 'sun' effect (bright star, top right corner)?
Cheers!

That lighting effect are just patches of white on another layer set to color dodge. Note that my bg is brown, and so when there is white... it dodges the brown underneath it. Then I used the sponge to give it more color/saturation! |
