Hey, that looks nice. Everything seems to be in the right place. And the proportion is just about perfect. Are ya gonna render that? |

Hey Binke....
Don't be so quick to judge, maybe he did base it off of SIN... It actually looks nothing like dhab's SIN pic ...
That is how hate and malicous evil things happen on a msg board...
So stop it punk! ^_^
It does look very good for your first attempt ! Congrats on the new tablet!

Talk about a pain....
I actually just got my wacom 6x8 about a month ago. I've been doing pencil rendering for a long time, but there is nothing stranger than looking at your screen while you are holding a "pen". I DO, however, give wacom kudos for at least making the feel of the tablet close to using normal (undigital) materials.
Practice is all anyone can tell ya to do to get better.
Best of luck, maybe I'll finally post something of mine once I feel that I'm worthy. haha

I know some people can just never get used to a tablet. Mine felt awkward for about an hour. Soon after, it felt so natural that once I picked it up, I'd completely forget I was even using it.
I guess it's a matter of taste.

don't tell me, you started off with the image and you couldn't get good symetry, so you drew one half of the image, copy, pasted, flipped horizontal, lined it up perfectly, then added the hair in?
i like the image tis a great start of an image, i'd like to see the finished work,. just make it lok a little less perfect, one key i've noticed in drawing the most beautiful women, is that they're not completly symetrical,.. it's trying to figure out what charicteristic is "flawed" that draws our attention to them,. personal thought..
oh, the joy of working digitally, it's not as easy to do on paper, you have a crease in the middle of your paper, or you have to photocopy,. hehe
good work.. |

Dude, I only sketch with my tablet. I never color scan-ins.
Here's a wacom generated sketch. I used the paintbrush, smallest brush, and about 75% opacity, pressure set to opacity.
