Well, I've tried and tried for about 3 hrs on this thing - I can't get anything right color wize, so I'm just posting what I think looks best for this odd enough montrosity. <--however you spell it!

Just follow the colours off the photo, it should be fine. Oh and the nose is looking better now 
I think it just needs a warmer touch (ie warm colours, shades of oranges, reds etc.) and it should turn out well. It's looking great so far, keep going! |

Mmmm... are you sure the eyes are in the right positions? They look very aligned. I would set my smudge to 100 and move it around... if it's not on a separate layer.
Colors...The hair could be brighter. And face, warmer. like Jason said. Mmm.. that's about it. ^^

Pretty good, but I HIGHLY recommend you check out Lee Hammond's books on drawing portraits if you haven't already. She has a lot of techniques that can help you improve the nose/hair.
As far as coloring goes try looking at: http://www.artlair.com/lessons.html for how I CG pencil portraits and draw portraits directly on the computer. The techniques I've developed for coloring pencil portraits might be helpful to you.

It's getting there - Still have a lot to do, but I like the skin color finally. Yep, a lot to do still. This computer drawing takes too long I originally drew the face in a half hour.
It's sneakpeek because imdaking was the first to see this version over an ICQ chat.
