Hey Dhabih, I tripped on your site a few days ago whilst looking for Quake II art and I happened to see your Eclipse picture. Man, I was floored. They way you drew the woman in that pic is astounding. I very strongly think that you should do a series based around the woman in that pic. The short white hair, the latex/leather looking turtleneck suit, the eyeshadow...it's beautiful. I think you'll find a few other people here who'd like you do do the series as well. Seeing that pic has even inspired me to try and write a story involving her. I'd love to hear from you or anyone else who thinks that pic should have a series.

That pic is done off a photograph of model Bridgett Hall. She's pretty hot.

Some people obsess about childhood friends, some about "that one girl in class", others over actresses...

But this guy obsesses over drawings.

Me, I think it doesn't matter what others want Dhabih, or anyone else for that matter to do. Not counting what one does for a living, I have little respect for people who do things not because they themselves want to, but because others might like it. It's become a problem, really, since I don't want to use suggestions other people give (Idea-wise) because then it wouldn't be original...

Um, I re-read this and realized it may sound a bit harsh. I don't mean to attack you, Jopapa, or anyone else, I just have a tendency to get sudden bursts of opinions...

hm i dont feel that the girl in the Eclipse image looks hot...Dhabih, paint Britney Spears instead!

He he, Jopapa, I don't know that Dhab would want to create any more pics of her after the trouble he got into last time

(I still think that accusation was dumb, how else is he supposed to practice the way light falls on different types of faces? Without hiring a bunch of models I mean

Anyway if you like the pic so much and want to see more you can just do a search for Bridget Hall, since that's who the picture is of.

And of course I like it, I like all of Dhabih's work.

Oh well, since this thread is already gotten pretty wacky I'll just ask this question that's been bugging me for a while: Is it just me, or does Bridget look like Natalie Portman in the pic Dhab used?

Dhab got into trouble for that one? Hmm, I must've missed something.
I've looked for pics of Bridgette Hall and have only been able to find a couple. Neither of which look like the one Dhab would've used.
And you know, you're right, the girl in the pic DOES look a little like Natalie Portman. Sorta Amidala-ish.

Here's the pic that Dhab used to paint eclipse (The one I thought looked like Portman.)

Also about Dhab getting into trouble, it was pretty much just a large misunderstanding, if you want to find out about what actually happened, you can go to Dhab's news archives, there's a message that has a link saying something along the lines of it being an explanation of something that he'd seen in his guestbook. The link explains everything.
