Skillful. But I've never said that you have to suck to have a mouse.
Then again, I don't wanna get the tunnel carpal syndrome. |

Cool man, love the lighting and that arm is just right, very nice.
Although I think the face is kinda awkward. I think it's a bit too long.. Or maybe she has her head like that
And the lips are looking weird to me, but its maybe just me heh |

The castle ellipses are a little funny. Don't put points on them, round them more. The oval tool in PS does a proper ellipse (as long as the lens is long enough). Check the blocks on top to get it to "turn the corner" better.
Hope this helps |

What kind of mouse do you use ?
magic one ?
Can i have the same mouse ?
I 100% agree with ka0z - lightning is very good, but i guezz it needs a tablet to draw a natural looking face, not so...uhmm... funny. |

You are looking up at the head, see bottom planes more than sides.
Don't overstate values! Sneak up on them from the middle!
Draw from life more
Hope this helps

Ok, maybe it's an elf or whutevah, but in the final version of the pic, the body is WAY to long. Or maybe the excuse is that elf people (elfs?) have their bodies very long and long faces, and awkward lips, and.. and.. long ears! huh!? Well, long ears maybe, but the other things are strange.
But the lighting/coloring is stunning. Even though the caste on the background seems like a decoration, doesnt look real, its kinda flat. Dontya think so?
Anyway.. Great pic despite all my critics |

Wow! Great feedback ! Ok, a few things to explain...
It was a character request for some fantasy stuff, so this girl isn't a human, she is a half drow.
All these proplems you are talking about came from one thing - i drew this pic from my mind, without ANY reference images. Yeah, maybe castle seems like a decoration, but i think it's better than a standart black bg.
Demon, nice touch... my castle sketch was OK (something like you drawing near the "YES" word), but then i've played with a 'smuge' tool it's becoming looking funny oh, well.
And yes, i'm trying to draw from life MORE.

PS2RATE sets the sample rate for ur ps2-mouse !! it's pretty cool..
i think windooze standard setting (for my ms-mouse) was 60Hz.. and now i'm running at 200Hz..
(which is much smoother )
well, get it here: http://www.students.tut.fi/~zibbo/other/
later, guybrush

You're right. Those pages are really worth the time spent reading them. I wish Craig Mullins could spend more time explaining how he works.
