It's ok, but there are a few things I think you could improve.
Suggestions:
Are those black dots supposed to be there?
I think you should rescale the image to at least 75%. It makes some of the blur look a little sharper, and you get sharper details.
It seems like you have drawn the colors in large "fields" and then shaded them. You should fill out the fields better, because there are a few white areas between the colors. Try to smooth out some of the black lines on the shirt. Draw a nice blurry image behind you, and increase the overall contrast. Though I think it's a good picture.
Post the finished picture later ok?

Hmm... I would say that you should try to add more details. It's the really small stuff that counts, nothing else! |

Not bad, but you may want to do some redrawing. One of the eyes is really tweaked. I don't know which one, but they really don't match. It also looks like the nose area is kind of pushed back into the face. Once you have those issues fixed, you should work on pronounced shading and more definition. Good luck!

Thanx for your comments ... I will try to do the things you told me.
Could you give me some hints, what I have to do that the eyes look more realistic? ... something went really wrong with them.

Each eye is okay by itself, but they don't MATCH. The right eye is placed lower than the left, and shaped differently.

Hi Funfetus,
thanx for your tip ... anyway, I already thought, that this is the problem. Unfortunately Ive got thousands of things to do right now, so I wont rework it in the next time - but Ill tell you when I've done it ...
Hi Anthony,
well, first off all Im FEMALE, so dont call me sir.
and I wanted to get some suggestions HOW I can improve my techniques, NOT whether you like it or not ... to be honest - I dont care at all, if you like it or not ... not everyone likes to draw those space-apocalypse-alien-stuff, ok?
kind regards

Was that a self portrait by chance?

well, actually it was a self-portrait ... kind of ;o) ... a few months ago I was in belgium ... and there I met someone who wanted to draw me with coal and chalk. it doesnt really look like me ... there are some slight differences, but I simply like it. so I decided to take this as a first attempt to colorize a pic ...
people told me, that it looks like I were about 35 years old, but it COULD be me ;o)
so far,

More attention to shading and shadows would help a LOT. Right now it looks flat. The lines on the clothes make them look really fake and quickly done. Finer details on the face/hair/clothes. The mouth looks like it's off, or the nose needs to be further left. Eyes need more detail instead of being the cartoony pure-black, and better shape might help too. The proportions and placement of features actually makes the face look concave... which is definatly not right. Just play around some more. Add some better contrasts in the skin.
