...im working on a little animation and im stuck.

sofar, i have my little bunny model and a evil bunny texture(.tga)....
I loaded it and went to put the texture on the model. when i did i didnt see a option that said something to the sort of "apply texture". so i clicked the next best thing "Bump map"
it showed the image in the boxes and this is where i get stuck. it shows it in the box, and when i hit "use texture"
it says it used it, but doesnt display it on my model...even when i render that frame(f9) it doesnt show it...so i said...wtf! and tried doing all that positioning shit...that didnt work either...so what do i do!?!?!

Well, there are many ways to fix this problem... so, first, check do you enable the "Use OpenGL" option? It allow you to see textures directly on the model. Remember,
LW CAN'T show bump maps in the viewing windows!
For stunning textures positioning you can use a null objects...
As for "apply texture" - there is the same option called "Use texture"... it always work for me. So, you just need a steady look to options...

I think your problem is that you havn't put the .tga on the model. To do that go intop the surface meny, click on the T-button netxt to the surface color. ten choose you image and click use texture...

well usually reading the manual helps................................................................

(warez are bad) =P

Anyways, This is how I do it in max....

Apply the .tga .jpg or whatever to the material I want it on... then you go back up and apply the material to the model.... It sounds like you are applying the texture to the material but not the material to the object.
