Yay! My collection of works is nearing the whopping number of 2! Well, here it is. I mostly tried to get the hang of skin smoothness and hair. I tried to make the pic sort of shadowy, but it sorta just turned out all tanned. Oh and I still haven't done the eye and I still have to fix up some little bits and pieces.
Of coure there are always things that you miss after staring at an image for so long, so maybe you could point them out to me?

Hey, your pic's lookin' awesome, BUT!:
-the "wrinkle" in the cheek is way too deep and obvious;
-try to make a more realistic hairline. Maybe blur it a bit, smudge the hair into the skin with a small brush, and naturally, the hair should cast somekind of a shadow onto the skin.
Otherwise, really good pic, nice skin tone, and I have to say, WAAAAAAAYYYYY better than the Quake one g-luck! |

Hey, thanx for the replies. I thought there would be some problems with the hair line. Cuz I don't exactly know how to do it. I was hoping to nail the hair the first time I did it, but I guess not
So thanx for the tip Shrimpsih.
Oh and I might have gotten a little carried away with the shading when I did the wrinkle. I'll fix it up.
Oh and Pyco, the ear was actually smaller than that! Then my dad came in and told me to make it bigger! If anyone else agrees with pyco I'll enlarge it.
Anyway, thanx ppl

Yeah, enlarge the ear, smudge the hairline, the neck is cool, the cheeks need less shading, the nose, eyes are cool. Spiffy all together.

Yeah, enlarge the ear. The top of the ear should be the about the top of the eyeline. This is why glasses are made the way they are. @:-)

a few things i noticed:
1. the eye is too far forward,. it he a cyclops?
2. you need a seperation from the neck and the back,.the neck seems too long
3. the hair is completely seperated from the rest of the image, it loks like an overlay layer,..blend it a little
4. jaw line needs to be softer and brought a little forward,.
