What a cool fourm. Critque online. Well, check out my Illustration page (all done with Photoshop and a Calcomp tablet. some of them like the Green Envy face and the Light house are some of the first things I drew with the tablet) http://members.xoom.com/Doc007/illus.htm
Some kinda suck some are better than others.
Coments are welcome.

not sure if im the one to say or whateva,
but one problem, or thing people used to tell me most was...work harder on sharpening the edges...hard lines as shrimpish would put.
blurred images look too quickly done.
Because we're all knowledged photoshop users
here, we know that the blurred pics are the ones that were done with the paintbrush at a low rez. work more on zooming in and adding the little spices *the details* mate.
:P i am not australian
hehehe

No, I used "The Creation of Adam" as refence for the hands,(it's at the top of my tablet. If you have a Calcomp Ultra Slate you'll know why) but didn't trace or minipulate anyhting. I drew it freehand with the tablet.

You might wanna practice a bit of symmetry to the faces... since some of them ('cept for Darth Maul) are out of symmetry.
And to fix the blur problem use a small/thin brush.
Other than that they are, in my humble opinion, way past cool!
Cheers! |

Well the green Envy one is suposed to be kinda off. It's just suposed to be emotional, not anatomicaly accurate.
Maul is one of my latest, though Yoda is *THE* latest.
