I doubt dhabih will give you the exact money he got off the cover. However I did phrase a similar question to him when the forum first began. I also asked him how he got into doing mag covers:

"immi, the mag covers happened from my website. A couple art directors for magazines saw my page and contacted me about doing covers.
Prices range from $600-$2500 and up from there. In general.
(i'm not at liberty to discuss my specific price, due to a pending a lawsuit. ok, not really, but i'm still doing covers so....)"
