this things neat. in case you don't know what I'm talking about ---Its like a mouse that reads bar codes on anything and uses that inform to sent your brower to that url.
anyway If you got a radio shack in your town they are giving them away.

Yeah, those are cool..

Here is a inside stock tip, Unova/Intermec (UVA) are making those for consumers for all stores in the near future.

They won't be for just a book you open and scan...what you will be able to do is, go into walmart (or ANY department store), find a product you like, and scan it using a small handheld scanner, then you go home plug it in the computer and the software goes on the internet to find the cheapest price on what ever you scanned at walmart (or wherever)! The scanner is said to be able to handle 100 items per trip.

I think it will be very popular.

Cliffy B is Cliff Blezinzky, a rather well known game designer at Epic Megagames. I think he came up with Jazz Jackrabbit and Jazz Jackrabbit two, and did work on Unreal, but I cant verify much cuz, I'm strictly just lazy right now.

None of these things seem to have much to do with the actual Computer Axial Tomography, which I've thought was the classical cat-scan.
