Ok, which do you all prefer:
-A bunch of Mini Tutorials showing more specific techniques
...Or....
-Big Comprehensive Tutorial covering everything in one image (takes longer)
In one case you'll get a tutorial sooner but less info, and the other later but with everything in it at once.
just wondering what the best approach would be.
i'll get back to some of the other posts tomorrow, i've fallen behind..but its way too late now to do anything.

Its my own opinion, but I think the full tutorial will be more interesting.

I think a full tutorial will be useful for beginners, but for experienced artists some specific techniques will be more interesting.
From my side, it's better to waiting for full'n'quality tutorial with megabytes of tips'n'tricks... hehe .

I AM A GREEDY MUTHA. I WANT BOTH A LARGE ONE FOR STARTERS, AND THE SEPERATE ONES FOR AFTER I HAVE A HANDLE ON THE BASIC STUFF. BUT.... IF I HAD TO CHOOSE, IT WOULD BE THE BIG ONE ALSO. ACTUALLY,ANYTHING WOULD BE NICE.
PEACE.

Well, a full tutorial would be more fun to read. I have a request, though: Please don't make it a rigid tutorial...
You know the type, that just tell you what to do and in what oreder, giving you the values to put in the filters etc.
It's better to make people think a bit on their own. |

One fun thing would to make some larger comprehensive tutorials on pictures divided by pages that shows up the different techniques and then having links to those specific details. If you catch my thoughts...
Cheers! |

or.... you could "expand" on a large tutorial... ie: make a complete comprehensive tutorial... then expand on certain points of it... ie: hair, eyes, hands... effects.. know wut i mean? |

I would love to see a small tutorial on how you did those textures in the "Jack" image.

I wouldn't mind waiting and I'd prefer a large tutorial if it did indeed go over the whole process of one image. For example, on tempest, the lighting, the textures etc all in depth. I think everyones familiar with the basic process; sketch, flats, dodge burn, smudge etc.

Anything would be great, just as long as you have something about how you do all the little details like in Jack, Tempest etc.. I am lost when it comes to all your detailing! |

Many little tutorials on the eventual implementation of a larer tut. make it like a website within a website, have the main image, let's give it a name <Bob>, then expand on <bob>,. give him arms'n'legs. err shading and color, then build and build. |
