Hi all!
Could you please help me...
I have this huge problem with Deluxe Paint 2.0
Where I can find text tool from it? I would like to make a logo, but I can't find text tool from anywhere?
And how I can make gradients with it? I heard that it's possible in version 2.0??
Thanks

Hi newbeginner in Deluxe paint!
Use Microsoft Paint instead. It have over 200 fonts integrated into it`s text tool manager. You can make some great logos with them. You can even change the color of the fonts so you can get different cool logos.
the Gradient function is not implemented yet. But I think Microsoft have plans to implement it in Windows 2000. I think this will revolutionize the graphic programs

Mr. bEam:
Deluxe Paint is gone, buried, blown, scratched, vaporized, finito, screwed and runned over as all other DOS proggies are. And it doesn't do well compared to the ultra, super and fabulous (winblows and mac proggie) Photoshop.

Hi, this is the serious man...
ofcoz, Dpaint is cool, it`s a pixelling programs, and I guess few people here nows what pixelling is...
But if you want to use multimillioncolor program, so choose Photoshop 5.5
And to those who uses Pain shop pro to make pictures,,fuck off ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |

Normally in dpaint you kind of... draw it yourself. The fonts that come with it aren't up to much and they are not as flexible as photoshop as it can't understand truetype or any other font format save it's own.
Dpaint still rocks but I'm warming to photoshop, layers and alpha channels are very handy and I suppose I can get used to not having to worry about running out of colours
Still, for small icons and stuff like that, photoshop feels a little clumsy.
Have a look at some of my old dpaint pics here if you like:

Wain, stop kidding aroun, man... That's not funny.
I was using Microsoft Paint when Windows 3.11 first came out, just to mess around with colors, etc. But Photoshop doesn't cost $1000 for nothing.
And if you REALLY are seroius, MOOOO-HAHAHA-HAAHAAHA...MOO-HAHAAH-HAHA |
