Hello. I've been coming to Dhabih's site for some time now, but never bothered to check out the "forums" till recently. I figured I might as well join after reading some.

Just so you guys know where my skills are, here are a few images I've done.

A picture I did of an old friend of mine who's name you can probably guess from the image's title. Done completely in Photoshop with a mouse.

A small drawing of an old man I made up. With the recent hair discussions on the forum I thought this one would be appretiated. Done using Photoshop and a mouse again. The hair was done partially with free-hand mouse work, and partially with fiddling with Eye Candy 3.0's fur filter.

Oddman5. Not a digital image, but hand drawn with pencil. Just thought I'd throw this one in as well.

The two digital images above are both pretty old and are relatively low res since I made both originally with a max res of 800x600x16bit, a bit constraining. I now have a max res of 1600x1200x32bit, so I'll probably be making some more higher res stuff now.

The oldman again, though this time it's just the main layer, uncolored, with out details. This is for you guys who want to know how I did that one... I then add some 4-5 layers for skin colorization, more for eyes, more for hair, more for finer details.

And just for fun, and very little to do with digital painting, Death of a Webmaster.

Actually, I started drawing long before I took art classes, and got good at drawing.

A drawing of a guy who came to talk at my church. This image was drawn some 10-9 years ago, BEFORE I started taking drawing classes (I'm 18 right now btw). So, as you can guess, I've been doing pencil drawings for a long time now.

I've also been drawing with a mouse since the early Mac days... though then it was all pixel work on low res screens, but still, been drawing with pencil for almost as long as I've been drawing on computers.

As for a tablet... that's one of the top priorities on my "to buy" list, just under a new lots-a-gigs hard drive (20 or maybe more) and some other smaller things. Hopefully I'll get one soon.

Since these seem so popular, a little preview of my self portrait I started after realizing "damn! I don't have one!"
